“At Atholl Heights Primary School, we are incredibly proud of our dynamic and thriving cricket programme. Cricket is more than just a sport to us – it’s a platform for developing both athletic skills and character. We offer cricket for both boys and girls, with a programme that emphasises teamwork, discipline, and excellence.

Our school has a rich tradition of success in cricket, with a number of our talented players going on to represent district and KZN-level teams. This success is not just a result of the players' hard work, but also the dedicated coaching staff who work tirelessly to develop young athletes. Our coaches are passionate about the sport and invest countless hours on the field to ensure every learner has the opportunity to improve, grow, and reach their potential.

While we strive for excellence on the field, we are equally committed to fostering the values that define our school. Our cricket programme serves as a vital tool for moulding our young athletes into strong, respectful, and responsible individuals. Through cricket, we aim to instill qualities such as perseverance, integrity, and teamwork, helping our students become not only skilled cricketers but also confident young men and women of character who embody the values of Atholl Heights Primary School.

We are also proud of our outstanding cricketing facilities. Our school boasts six state-of-the-art astro nets and two well-maintained cricket fields, which provide the perfect environment for training and matches. Additionally, our newly constructed sports pavilion, located alongside the main cricket field, adds to the overall appeal of our facilities. This pavilion is a fantastic space where parents and supporters can enjoy a coffee or meal while cheering on our young players.
